Sara, "Bevey" Will Miss You!!

As many of you know I have been residing at my brothers place. It was meant to be a temporary living situation until I figured out where I would be ending up more permanently. But since my plans have taken a bit longer than I anticipated I am moving in with my friend for the time being. My little niece Sara has been my roommate, we don't actually share a room, but she is my little visitor. I will come home from work, walk in the door and I hear "Bevey!" She runs up to me and hugs me, gives me a big fat kiss, which is usually sticky because she's been eating, and then proceeds to tell me about her day. I will say, "How was your day Sara?" And she will say in her very adult two and half year old voice, "Oh it was good Bevey, really busy, I played and went to the park and watched Lion King!" You might be thinking that sounds very grown up for a girl her age, but I kid you not, she talks and acts WAY too grown up for her age, it's quite entertaining. Then I will go to my room and get ready to go to the gym. I can count on her coming down in about 3-4 minutes. I hear a knock on the door. "Bevey, can I come in and play with you?" So she comes in and comments on how clean or messy my room is and then will ask for me to put on music and jump on my bed or watch her self shake her cute booty in front of the mirror. She always has questions and very honest comments. She is obsessed with my chest. It's odd, she will always find a way to poke or touch them. The other day I was getting ready for the gym. And she said to me as I was changing and trying to be discrete around her, "Bevey, one day I'm going to have big things just like you." I laughed, I didn't know what to say. But in my mind I was thinking, I pray to God you don't! I know I am not moving far away, but my heart breaks a little when I think I won't see this cute little two and half year old on a daily basis. She brightens up my day with her cookie dance(when she wants a cookie she dances and says cookie over and over), her honest comments, the cute little knock on the door, and her asking me to take a picture of her all of the time. But most of all I will miss hearing my favorite phrase, "Bevey, you are my best best friend!" I better stop blogging or I will start crying! Sara I LOVE YOU!

  1. Ahh, ya gotta love big boob comments from kids. Once while I was getting dressed (he was about 3), Anders said, "What are those big ovals?" as he drew ovals in the air with his finger. Then he said, "Why are they so big?"
Needless to say, I'm a little more private now.

    Sara is adorable. Mini Bev!
